The easy way to choose SecureCRT as default application when opening telnet for eve-ng or pnet-lab on Google Chrome and Firefox browsers

Google Chrome Browser

Step 1: Open SecureCRT > Choose Option > Global Options > Terminal > Web Brower > Make SecureCRT the Default Application

Step 2: Go to Window > Default app settings > Choose default apps by protocol

Find Telnet and choose SecureCRT Application

Firefox with SecureCRT

Open Firefox > Tools (☰) > Setting > Applications > Content Type telnet choose Action Use SecureCRT Application.
