Backup current configuration
You should back up your current configuration in case it needs to be reloaded. This is an optional step, if you don’t need current configuration, you can skip it.
# Save Configuration
/admin save
# Save the current configuration file as config.cfg.bak
/file copy config.cfg config.cfg.bakDelete current configuration file
Delete the current configuration by deleting the config.cfg configuration file. Note that the admin save command should not be used.
/file delete config.cfg
Delete file cf3:\config.cfg (y/n)? y
Deleting file cf3:\config.cfg ... OKCreate a new empty configuration file
Create an empty configuration file so router can be accessed by the device after reboot
/file vi config.cfg
Press ESC
Then type :wq
Press EnterReboot and get the new router 🙂
Finally, restart the device to load the empty configuration.

Are you sure you want to reboot (y/n)? yAfter the router has finished booting, log in with the default account and password.
